ZTE JoinMe Plus is a free program only available for Windows, that belongs to the category Productivity software with subcategory Cataloging. It's available for users.
I can download the Join Me program automatically via the phone and also from the ZTE website and all device drivers are functioning correctly in the device manager. However everytime I try to connect to the program it comes up with the same error message. Cannot connect to phone. 1 make sure USB lead is properly connected. Switch phone off and on again.
Re-install the drivers in the Device Manager (see www.zte.com.au for help) I have tried all of these things multiple times and nothing is working. • 9 Answers SOURCE: I was having this problem as well, but solved it.
I, like others decided to just buy a USB cable for my VX9900 and use Windows Media Player for sync'ing. (I also have the Verizon Essentials program that I downloaded, but I like WMP better. No particular reason). I was getting the installation messages and as soon as the MTP message came up, I got the 'problem' message and it didn't sync. What I did when I got the cable was to run the CD drivers that came with my cable.
That may have been my mistake. I was bothered that the date of my driver was in 2005 since the phone came out late in 2006.
So I looked at the name of the driver and it was something like C: Windows System32 Drivers LGUSBDriver.xxx whatever. I went to my device manager and uninstalled the driver. I went to the C: Program Files and deleted the LG USBDrivers folder. I went to the Windows/system32/drivers folder and there were three LG*.* files I deleted them. The next time I plugged the phone in and set it to sync, it worked. It's late and night and I may not have typed this really clearly, so feel free to contact me at bill (at) halfamind.com (because a half a mind is still a terrible thing to waste). • 4737 Answers SOURCE: Well, it looks like you haven't selected the correct WAP settings. How many service providers' settings have you saved on your phone? In most cases, 'whatsapp' application causes this problem, the only solution is to uninstall the 'whatsapp' application (as far as I know) otherwise you'll be notified everytime your phone is turned On. But in many case, if your network is AAPT (or other specific network/s), then accepting the warning and setting up the access point automatically should also fix your problem. But if you have several network access, that would be different, suppose if you keep changing your sim card, you'll need to change the settings every time you switch your sim card.
You can also try this method, go to settings >connectivity >destinations >and then (by one depending on how many acces points you have on your phone), choose any access point, then press options and go to advanced settings and then change the network type from IPV4 To IPv6, and save the settings, repeat the steps with all the network access point you don't use. Hope this helps. Let me know if you need further help. Thanks for using FixYa.

Anyway what you may need to do is Install the software ALL the software drivers, install.exe, and actually running it, as Administrator in Compatibility Mode for XP SP 2. Win 7 and USB are a nightmare if NOT directly supported and have a driver written exclusively for the device you are trying to use, it simply will not work. Starter 4 1 Siemens Downloads. Also IF a 64 bit machine, you may need to set to OFF Digital Driver Signing. At boot up press F8 and select it from bottom of menu, each and every time you boot up. Older phones simply will NOT play well with Win 7 as simple as that, again unless the Phone, and Win 7 are of the same 'Age' IE: A modern unit only about 12 months old or so will work.
This is one of the biggest problems with Win 7, there are ways around, such as installing an XP/Vista virtual machine and using that to access the phone, trying 'Other' softwares to connect, Posted on Apr 27, 2011. Hi, Trying to help out a friend who had his ZTE T54 Telstra Tough phone run over by a car. Screen is completely blank and appears to have no power or connection, yet keys activate/light up, phone appears to power up as well as off and when on, keys are playing tones. He's since bought a newer T55 replacement and was able to transfer his SIM card in it, so he's back on the air. Unfortunately he wasn't saving the phone numbers on the SIM card, but in the phone memory and he doesn't use a computer, so his ~300 numbers in his phone book appear to be lost. I plugged it in via USB and it mounted and came up! So I thought I'd be able to get the phone numbers out of it for him. Unfortunately, even though it mounts and allows the software to install, when it goes to connect to interrogate the phone numbers an alert comes up in the 'Join Me' software saying to switch the phone on(??) It's clearly on in that the software is mounting and I'm able to type in 'AT' commands on the serial port its presenting (and no, the AT+CPBR commands didn't work), so the phone may still be too damaged, even though its kind of working through the USB port.
My last ditch effort is to see if I can retrieve the phone numbers from the phone memory via Bluetooth. Unfortunately the phone currently doesn't have Bluetooth activated and without a working screen, I'm typing/selecting menu functions blindly. I used his new T55 to type simultaneously the same keys and menu options on both phones to activate bluetooth on the broken T54, but no go. As I have no screen on the broken T54, I was hoping I could somehow activate its Bluetooth module to try and connect/pair with it. From looking at the PDF manual for the T54, there are some minor differences between its menus and the newer T55 and so the key options are not the same. So, I'm hoping someone with a Telstra Tough T54 (must be T54, not another version) might be able to tell me exactly the sequence of keys needed to turn Bluetooth on it. I know its a long shot, but if I can turn Bluetooth on, I may just be able to retrieve his numbers for him.
Another option would be to just video someone going through the menus doing the same thing with a T54 so I could watch them and copy it. Anyone got a T54 that might be able to help me/him out? Hi, Contact ZTE Australia direct via the support line (see the website as I don't remember it). Then explain the issue and the guys can offer for you to send it in to them and then they can walk the 10M to me to help get the contacts off the device. Twice a year I get asked to download and save users contacts and we have a couple of methods we can try. Don't send the battery as we have our own is all I would say you should need to remember.
Ask your mate if he has setup the handset for DUN via Bluetooth or not? There are a couple of settings that can stop you getting the contacts off the handset. Hi, thanks for your advice. Do you know roughly what sort of cost is associated with this? I have to ask my friend how much this is worth to him. Twice a year I get asked to download and save users contacts and we have a couple of methods we can try. Don't send the battery as we have our own is all I would say you should need to remember. I've tried the usual way with the USB cable and I've also tried using the serial port 'AT' modem commands as well. So Bluetooth is last option I'm aware of. Ask your mate if he has setup the handset for DUN via Bluetooth or not?
He definitely hasn't as it was never plugged into a computer before he asked me to help. There are a couple of settings that can stop you getting the contacts off the handset. He would have used it literally as it came out of the box from Telstra to just make phone calls and SMS.
That's the limit of his technical knowledge. So I wouldn't know what the defaults are, but its very unlikely anything would have changed from initial setup.
